Your beautiful feather sampler from this class includes 4 separate wall hangings – more than 50 different feather ideas! To be able to put a feather on a quilt where ever you desire in a reasonable amount of time is every longarm quilter’s ultimate goal. You’ll be a freehand feather pro when you leave this class. “Fancy Feather Frenzy” practice packets are included.

Cheri Meineke-Johnson (not recommended for beginners)

Advanced students - you asked for it, so here it is. Linda and Cheri have combined talents to share with you in a one day hands-on class. First Cheri will take you through her design process and help you design your very own appliqued quilt top. She will also share with you some of her tips on blocking and binding the quilts to make sure that they hand beautifully when you are finished.
Then it's Linda's turn to help you quilt your little wallhanging using lots of colorful thread and the most creative quilting techniques in the industry. You will proudly go home with a completed project ready to bind. All fabric, batting, thread and crystals are included in the class fee. Please bring any tools you'll need for your longarn quilting. Be on time, wear comfortable shoes!

Classes are limited to 8 students.


Crystal Workshop: With Cheri Meineke-Johnson
This is the year for embellishments! Due to repeated requests, Cheri has developed this workshop to help you learn how to creatively and beautifully embellish your quilts and garments with Swarovski hot fix crystals. She will show you some easy and simple ways to add sparkle to that T-shirt, denim jacket or completed wall hanging. She is an award winning quilter and expert in helping you decide color and placement of the crystals. Included with the class will be one gross of crystals, one sheet of Mylar, and use of the tool for applying the crystals. She also has a book of patterns available to create a custom design, if desired.
